Beautiful Day On Ray Roberts

Beautiful Day On Ray Roberts - 09/29/22 09:57 PM

Man what a day I had on Ray Roberts Tuesday. It was a Chamber of Commerce day with blue sky and low wind. Stopped to pick up minnows, glad I did. Put in at Isle de Bois, total of 4 other trailers in the parking lot, needless to say not much traffic on the lake. Worked like heck to find them in the cedars managed only a couple of keepers. Moved out the Corp BPs. That's where they were. I think I caught 1-2 under sized for every keeper. Ended up with (11) nice sized. Interesting with those minnows I caught Crappie, Bass, Catfish, Sandbass, Drum and even a Bluegill. Had a fun day!

We were on Ray Roberts on Tuesday. Started around 8 am. With the low to no wind the spotlock had trouble staying on the main lake brush piles so we headed to the timber and finished the day with 37 crappie. Fished about 4 1/2 hours. It was a beautiful day.
My favorite time of year to fish.
