How to rig a crappie pole - 05/13/22 04:59 PM
I have some "crappie duster" 10 foot pole (NOT rod and reel). How do I rig one? How long should the line be?

About 20 feet,..the line loops around the clips near the handle. Used for vertical shalow fishing mostly.
If you put 20' on that 10' pole you will have to pull the last 10' by hand.

Ahh, gotta love the Yutes.
Tie the line firmly around the butt end of the pole, down near where you hold it; run the line up to the top and through the little eyelet; then leave about 10 or 11' extra line so you can swing it out and dangle it.
So easy a caveman ....
About 20'

Those poles are good for crappie fishing during the spring/spawn, when they are in the shallow water and wader fishing.
