ACC Crappie Stix? - 07/04/21 02:49 PM

Does anyone know where I can find a couple of replacement tips for the 10’ jigging rods. I broke one yesterday and everyone seems to be out of stock.

It has notify me. Put in your email address and as soon as they come in you will get an email.

I'm only aware of ACC directly selling the Tips.

The next shipment should be any day per the last communication I received.

Try Frank Mckinney. Look up Lake Side Lures. Many stores that carry ACC also have the tips. The Shipment of new rods should be in soon but Andy is great about ordering extra tips. I might even send an email to ACC as they usually send those out free.

Thanks Hogon and Chris, I got this one hung in the trolling motor when it was on full speed. Not the rods fault.

ACC is one of my sponsors, I have about 16 rods and I have broken 3 tips. One in the trolling motor like you did (Thought I caught a world record fish till I realized what I had), one 12ft was sticking out to the right side of my boat when I backed it in and broke another 12 ft when I was fishing close to the boat, had a big fish hit and I pulled up in the middle of the rod where it did not have the ability to bend like it should. Other than that I have caught a ton of fish for my YouTube Channel and not broken a think. Andy stands behind his rod and usually sends tips to you free as it does happen. Good luck. If you do not find one in the next week or so, let me know and I will see if I have a spare and can bring you one when I go through Abilene in a few weeks. Because of my mistakes with trolling motors and running into walls I had Andy send me about 10 tops last year so I may have one I can give you if you can't get it replaced before then.

Thanks Chris, Hopefully they can get their inventory replenished. I sure like their rods. I haven’t went with anything longer than the 10’ yet, I grew up using the old Wally Marshall 9’ rods that used to have back bone. So far the 10’ has been great even with livescope on brush.

I snapped 2 tip sections in one day swinging crappie onboard. One on the 7’6” the other the 8’… I filled out the warranty request and ACC responded the next day sending out replacements.. so while I was concerned about the durability of them, the customer service is by far the best I’ve dealt with
