Had my last bass tournament for the season yesterday so ready to get back after the crappie and get some meat to cook.

Anyone else excited to get the extra water out of the way !

That is a surprise with as much water they are letting out. 7045 cfs right now, that is the highest I have seen.

Yeah, that place loves to find reasons to close ramps. No telling when they start opening things back up.

last few days the river under HWY 78 has been a roaring rapids. it's pretty awesome to look at. i thnk they have dropped the lake 6' in the last few days. another 1.5 days at this rate and it will be at normal level. I was hoping it would stay 3-4' high.

They are where this hack can catch em, on piles in 20-25 feet of water

Had a limit yesterday, went back today left measure board in garage only kept obvious keepers had 12 over 12 inches

The fishing has been tough. All the current and water the COE is letting out is really making the fishing tough!

I was out on Lavon yesterday and did really well in the yak. A bunch of smaller fish and caught 90 percent on minnows. Will post a video report later today.

Usually when the gates are open and releasing that much water the bite is not good but Lavon has been doing really well all year long, maybe a little slower than normal but still can get limits easy just may take more than 2 hours for 50.

Staying out of the fray this weekend gotta work tomorrow and Sunday just take it easy

I hit Lavon yesterday and boated a two-man limit "alone" from 8 am to 4:30 pm. All fish released and the best fish was a 1.63

David is your livescope transducer on your trolling motor or a separate pole ?

I put 18 in the ice chest Saturday on Lavon, pouring down rain at one point, but I didn’t get wet.

Where did you get that pedestal?

It is just standard size pedestal with the seat out and umbrella in.

Thanks. All the pedestals I’ve ever seen have a 3/4” hole in the top like the one on the deck.
