Slab Bandit Tip.

Slab Bandit Tip. - 06/08/21 04:00 PM

I fish with Slab Bandits, exclusively, been using them for years.

One of the problems with them when you open a package is 1/2 of them are crooked and swim in circles when you fish with them.

Take a pot of water and bring it to a boil. Set it off the burner and add the slab bandits for 60 seconds stirring so they won’t thick to the metal. Take them out and put them (flat) on a small cookie sheet and put them in the freezer for 20 minutes.

Let them return to room temperature and add a few drops of olive oil to the package and bag them up.

Way too much trouble for me. I’m looking for simplicity, and jigs that are durable.
