Are these good spillway jigs ?

Are these jigs good for spillway fishing or will they get hung too easily

I dont like the inline line tie, but im sure they will get bit. Is there brush where your fishing?

I don't know I've never fished it but I plan on fishing the lake Wright patman spillway this summer but will the crappie still bite there by then?

With the eyelet on top it looks like those may be designed for cast and retrieve vs. vertical jigging. I would think they would work especially in moving water. Good looking jigs.
