Does anyone know why they are dropping the level below normal at LOP?

Maybe anticipation of the spring rains? Haven't been out in a few weeks. How low is it getting?

Awfully optimistic, if that's the reason. Got the feeling it's going to be very dry. Hope I am dead wrong though.

LOP is currently .72' high. Maybe they are releasing water just to where it gets back to normal pool.
