Mounting LIve scope separate from the trolling motor. - 02/26/21 11:02 PM
You guys that are running live scope separate from your trolling motor, what have you liked best for mounting the transducer and getting it in the water? Do you make your own mount or is there a brand or company that you really like?

There’s a lot of good ones! They all have pluses and minuses IMO. David with Shut up and Fish makes the Poleducer. I like the fact his is not on the TM so you can use it without having the trolling motor in fhe water and can livescope areas much quicker scouting. I like ones on the TM cause it’s one less step having to drop it in the water and take it up every time. I’ve learned running 2 units I like the transducers several feet apart so we get different angles on fish. That’s helpful in our case!!

I am considering the pole from All Aboard marine. Seems like the perfect compromise. Deploys and aims with the trolling motor until you switch a lever then it aims independent of the TM with a handle.

All Aboard if you want it on the TM but controlled independently. Liftsaver Transducer mount from Ron Duran if you want a totally separate pole.

We will have the poleducer back in stock in mid-March. It also works with the Lowrance Active Target Transducer and soon to be Humminbird Mega Live Transducer.
