Office spot available

Office spot available - 02/23/21 06:06 PM

better than boat fishing on a windy cold day, better than bank fishing, Close to DFW area. Great learning opportunity to fish with experienced fishermen.

YES it's boat slip fishing at the OFFICE. Under roof, deep water (23') , shady in summer, baited with fresh cover, Microwave, refrigerator, fish cleaning station, locker. Private, clean with restrooms handy. All for only $500.00 for a full year.

I have had a slip at Pier 121 marina for over 30 years. Fishing has usually been very good, particularly in winter.
Occasionally we have a bad winter like this year but it always bounces back. Lewisville is one of the best Crappie lakes near Dallas.

Limited number of spots available so don't wait. Year runs from April 1 this year thru March 31 next year.

I caught six this morning - only two keepers, again. The bite turned off at 9:15. Mr. Lee caught several more nice ones before I left. I will be there next week again.

If everyone pays up that committed by phone we only have three spots left available. If you want some easy fishing and friendly fishing partners better grab one soon.

Today we tried boat fishing on the lake. Found a nice new brushpile but no takers on our jigs. Returned to the slip and landed four 11"-13" fish for lunch.

Will fish the slip for the next 10 days. Lots of wind predicted.

I fished yesterday, and this morning and had a nice time. Caught nine yesterday, with five nice keepers - the biggest one was 14". Today I caught/kept six and snapped a pic of the catch. One was at 6', and the rest were at 18'. The fishing/catching is getting better day by day. When I used a Crappie Fireball - it seemed to help! [Linked Image]

I filleted 12 today, 6 were over 12". Only two were females, strange.
Most were at 6'-10'. They are coming up shallower daily.

Only fished from 7-8 this morning. Caught about 12 with only one little dink. Most were just barely keepers with a couple good ones. I bet I caught 5 out of one spot in 3 min. The better fish seemed to kind of just swim off with the jig.

Re: Office spot available - 03/13/21 05:04 PM

After wasting two hours out in the boat without a bite James and I returned to the office and put 10 in the basket in an hour. Three other members were there when we returned and all had nice stringers of crappie.

WE SHOULD HAVE STAYED THERE.

Only two left, better hurry.

Fished the slip today for two hours. Dan and I filled a basket with 18. Most hit 5'-7' down in 23' deep slips. Color jig didn't matter. Threw back about that many small fish.
