Fat Crappies are moving - 02/07/21 04:17 PM
Hey y’all it’s time to be checking your favorite prespawn crappie hangouts. They are getting shallower everyday. What’s the shallowest y’all have caught them recently?

No sir, they are there now and will just hold tight until the weather warms back up. I used to think that is what fish did but 26 years of guiding taught me different lol

This cold front may cause them to act a little differently, lake temps will drop dramatically in our area, not sure how cold y’all will get east of here but we will be below freezing for about 7 days in row. Have not seen it this cold for this long and many many years that I can remember. Will be interesting to hear stories of where people find them after this compared to where they were.
