Taking the wife fishing for the 1st time in 2 years

Going to Lavon Saturday morning. This will be the first time in 3 years that we’ve been on the lake. Any suggestions on how to put my wife on fish would be greatly appreciated! I saw a post on brush piles in 30ft of water and I’m going to search for those and give that a try. Please IM me if you have other suggestions. She’s excited about the trip and I just want to make sure she gets a bite.

If I took my wife this time of the year, she wouldn't go back for a couple of years.

April & May are the times for wives, fishings easy and the Weather is warm.

Could not get the motor started, so our fishing outing had to be postponed,.
Guess that’s what happens when you let the boat sit for 2 years.

I learned years ago to go by myself before inviting anyone else because this is what happens.

If my wife went fishing with me then I might have to help her sew. Not taking any chances, I'll just go alone.
