Bardwell 10-9-2020 - 10/10/20 11:46 AM
Got out to Bardwell yesterday to feed my addiction. Wasn’t planning on keeping anything so was just putting them back, until I talked to a few people that said they would take some. Water temp was 71 at the ramp at 8:00am and was 74 at mustang ramp at about 11:00am. Light easterly wind in the early hours then about 10 mph by 2:00. I caught fish all over the lake. Only a couple were less than 10”. Anywhere from 8-18’. All on white 1/8th Oz jig head. Black and Chartreuse body. Started with Tennessee shad Crappie Magnet and it was pretty slow. When it was finally torn up I put on a black and chartreuse that was in the bottom of the boat, and it was the color they wanted. Ended up catching about 30 or so. Gave away 17 to the guys in the blue Skeeter. Sorry guys, my old brain doesn’t allow me to remember your names! The biggest fish actually got released.
