Joe Pool 10/4/20

Joe Pool 10/4/20 - 10/05/20 04:29 PM

Fished Joe Pool yesterday afternoon and caught some good ones. Fished some brush piles on the north end of the lake in 15’-23’. The combination of high winds and a very light bite made it a little more difficult, but ended up catching 20-30 crappie with only a few under 10”. Largest was just shy of 15” and caught several other 13”+. All caught on jigs and all released.

Thanks guys. There are some solid fish in JP. It’s funny how many people fish the bridges at Joe Pool and how few fish the brush piles or standing timber. Lots of good fish to be found all around the lake.

Hey Miles Hunter I think it`s because a lot of people rely on that TPWD fishing report rather than get out and hunt for the BP`s. But that`s OK
