Put me in Coach!!!!

Had Coach Northern and his son on Palestine the other day! They were wrapping up a week long fishing trip throughout the state. They pulled their boat and fished some on their own and did a couple guided trips and they do this every year. That’s so awesome, making some great memories for sure! They both are great anglers! Palestine continued to be finicky but we stayed on the move fishing brush and timber and when we called it quits they had 40 slabs on ice for the ride back to Houston! Shad colored hand ties on Limits Tackle heads and Constant Pursuit Outfitters White Hot thump chubbies were the stars of the show once again! Coach was impressed with how durable they are for plastics as am I! The Jenkos Kevin Rogers signature series 10-11’ rods slung em in the boat no problem. You can get those and just about anything else you want from Frank at Lakeside Lure and Tackle! We had a gray daisy swapping Louisiana stories and listening to his football tales! I don’t have much to contribute there as anybody that’s met me could attest but at least I got my good looks!!

Thanks Todd. We had a great time feeling the thump and watching the screen off and on finding fish to make the travel squad from Palestine to Cypress. My son keeps reminding me and all our fishing buddies that he caught the first one and more than me. Never mentions who caught the biggest. He will definitely get front boated a little on our next solo trip. College teammate already looking to get out on Pines when the bite is good. My aunt and her church lady friends will be happy as well with the fish they get to eat. Also ordering jigs. Those things tougher than well done 3$ steak. Thanks again!

They are tough! Your son was great! Mine seems to remember those days he wins and statistics change throughout the day depending on what in his favor! He must get that from his momma! Safe travels back to Louisiana!
