Shore-fishing/Wading for Crappie

My usual spot is right under the Lake Lavon dam, but when I went there a few weeks ago, I found it's all been dug up. I assume the army corp of engineers are doing some repairs to the dam.

If anyone has some decent spots (in DFW) for crappie from shore/wading and wouldn't mind sharing, please drop me a PM!


P.S. There were a lot of dead fish, including a few huge (18"+) crappie by the dam, it was quite sad...

No, but if you have or can get a tube summer crappie fishing is decent around Bridge pylons.
