Aquilla 5-27-20 - 05/27/20 11:00 PM

My brother and I finally made back out to Aquilla today, man it was beautiful morning. I'm still learning how to fish for crappie but I was finally able to locate some brush piles and catch some fish. We caught about 20 with 12 good keepers. I was using 1/8 ounce jig with pink head and canjun cricket. Rain storms moved in and we had to go. Thanks to a couple TFFER'S for the pointers, definitely helped me to get on the fish.

Thanks guys! Yeah, I am addicted to the thump and I am slowly figuring it out. It was so nice out there, I didn't want to leave, but the lightning said "you gotta go!"

I found them at 12-15 feet, but I am still learning. There may be some other threads that says the depth they were finding them on Aquilla.

My wife and I were out there yesterday fishing under the shade of the bridge. We had 14 keepers and a bunch of throw backs. I learned that the ultrezx wont hold your boat while under the bridge, that's a damm it. Still a great day with a cool lite breeze.
