My first trip to Lake Striker in East Texas. I was planning to fish for channel cats but at the last minute bought some minnows and went searching for crappie.
Caught a bunch under 10" on tiny minnows in 2 - 6ft of water. I do not usually keep fish but I deep hooked 2 that were around 12" so I kept them on ice.
I knew this lake is always very stained but I did'nt really expect it to be this bad. I put out a catfish rod while eating lunch but no luck.
It was a beautiful morning to get on the water and forget about the craziness in our world right now.
