Fork and Livescope

Fork and Livescope - 04/24/20 01:48 PM

I have had Livescope since Christmas and still learning how to use it properly. It's not that Livescope is difficult but it's just me understanding what I'm looking at on the screen. Slowly self teaching myself with you tube videos. roflmao

Anyway, fishing trees on Fork yesterday and I got to watch my first Livescope Crappie Slam. woot

That was pretty darn cool to see the Crappie coming flying off the bottom and slam my jig.

A picture of my first Livescope Crappie.

Here was one that Dad caught yesterday.

We had a blast.

ACC 12 Foot Rods.
Jigs White and Chartreuse Hand Ties by Bill Baldwin.
Water Depth 18-30 Feet. Most fish caught 16 feet down.
We did tip the jigs with minnows yesterday.

A few fish did come off the bottom.

All fish given away at the ramp.

We will be on the Lake Saturday and Sunday with Mom feel free to swing by and say hello.

Congrats on your first slam. You can hear my grandsons across the lake when they see a crappie come charging at their jigs. Fun times.

Congrats. If you are interested, let me know, I have a few video's that I made such as how to identify fish and settings 101 for livescope. Once you learn it you will find that it is more exciting each time you use it.

This is something you can’t describe to somebody who doesn’t have LVS. Fishing is more interactive and engaging, especially for kids and those who don’t fish much.
