Richland Chambers Crappie - 04/24/20 01:40 PM

Wow what a difference a few days make. Yesterday I fished all day checking brush piles from 10 to 20' and standing timber. Brush piles were loaded with most fish 8" to 10 1/2 " did catch some really nice ones 13 to 15". On the big standing timber it would be 2 & 3 fish and most were nice and really attacked the bait. All were caught on Mr. crappie Joker and some Bonehead plastics I'm really getting impressed with.
Did keep a few for a upcoming fish fry and released the rest. Most of my fishing was done south of the 287 bridge. Use your side-scan find the piles and you will find the fish. Tight lines!

Nice report Britt! Those beaver tail jigs are sure nice. you can rig them with the tail flat or tail standing up - they both have great action!

Hope to hit the water Saturday.
