Aquilla II

Got out to Aquilla again Friday. Wind was brutal. It was hard to fish the timber like before. Marked bunches of fish just couldn’t stay close enough to capitalize on them. Ended with 9 keepers and about 20-25 dinks. No more than 1 keeper on any spot. Same bait and presentation as before. Water temp was 64-65 degrees.

Heard it was brutal all around DFW Friday. No skunk so great job!

I forgot to mention the 2 smallest fish were spawned out. The other 7 were full of eggs. So the spawn is not over quite yet.

I was on Aquilla Friday also!! Wind was strong till about 2 or 3!!! Had about the same results. The crappie are getting back to most of the brush piles that I have found. Could only catch one or two from each stop though. I only brought home 6.
