Murvaul get together

What is the plan for the get together scheduled for the end of the month? Looks like there is a good chance that all of the shelter in place mandates will still be active until the end of the month at least. Can everyone weigh in on their opinion for this deal so we can all adjust schedules as necessary.

My old lady ain’t letting little man go anywhere! She went nuts when we went to the lease to turkey hunt last weekend because somebody else showed up!

Like we talked about the other day, lets just postpone it till this fall and try again.

... I'm all for postponing it due to current situations... After all I wouldn't want to give Tbox and hickory nut any reason to not be able to defend their title..

I obviously look forward to this annual event, as much as anyone. Further, I look forward to the fellowship. Moreover, I appreciate our young guns hosting this event and making it the success it has been, historically. Nothing better than mixing some of the top gun fisherman in our ranks with normal very day fishing folk, IMO.

With that said, it seems that some of the counties, are designated as “shelter in place”. It also seems that about half of the normal attendees are at least my age (61+), so if for no other reason than to protect our elders, we should just look to a postponement. If the fall doesn’t work out, as it sometimes does not, we can just reschedule it for next year. At the end of the day, we should seek to protect everyones health and safety, it is the responsible thing to do. And despite my other failings in life, I have always been responsible for the health, welfare, and safety of others. And this is definitely one of those times.

I’m going to do my best to make it whenever it happens. Great deal you put on Troy.

Funny how it would have been okay if it was just you and not one of her lil babies. We are good for one thing to women and that is mowing the lawn.

As I recall, it was about 65 degrees.
