Where do Crappie go to spawn when the lake is flooded? Joe Pool is 4 feet high right now.

Deeper water/marinas. Also don’t overlook the bridges. Once that water starts dropping they will really pull off the banks

my slip at joe pool is more like 7' high according to my finder. and the catching has been mighty slim this past week. and keepers even slimmer.

Catching plenty of crappie on brush from 10'-30' right now on Joe Pool. Shallow bite is hit and miss so far this year with the water level fluctuating. There are lots of crappie still staged in deeper water.

+1, gravel pits at Grapevine were great at normal level but sucked when lake was up. Lavon is s as me way. When water is high at Lavon you just can't get to fish in a boat. I was at Fork today. Too early is my thinking. Water temps seemed good but normal spots did not produce. Weather made it interesting too. At least the big west winds never materialized. I think we are a week or 2 out for peak shallow bite. Big cold front next week won't help.
