Blood Moon crappie

Blood Moon crappie - 02/20/20 12:55 PM

Hit Fork Saturday with Tboxfish and while we didn't set the woods on fire we did catch 19 good uns! Best 7 weighed a respectful 13.18#. I got to claim BFOD this time thanks to a perfect pitch before Todd could get his jig down. We pulled up on a tree with two big crappie about 12ft down and I got the biggest one at 2.27# and Todd doubled up with a 1.81#! We were chasing some very spooky fish and testing a new color in the making he calls BLOOD MOON. Most fish were still in the creek channel in 35 FOW but we still caught fish in water as shallow as 14ft. I also balanced the universe out and caught the customary ditch pickle this time.
