In the last place you look....

Was a grind today. Got on the lake about 10:30 and by 1:30 had only boated 2 keeper size fish. Could not find where the rascals were hiding today. Needed to head home but decided to look at one more spot that was on my way to the boat ramp. Needless to say I was a little late getting home...lol.

Sometimes that’s almost better than catching them everywhere you go....... those trips keep me humble and always on the lookout for more places to fish when they aren’t where they “should be” . Good to see you are keeping yourself on the water sir.

Lake Murvaul (Panola County)

Last couple trips to Murvaul have humbled me.....so I run over to Martin Creek and get revenge..

A friend of mine's Dad used to take us to Murvall fishing once in a while. when I was about 11-12 years old, so a LONG time ago.

Yes sir, I'll stay on brush about 10 minutes and if I don't get a thump then it's anchors away. I'll try a boat house a little longer if it's got a past record of being productive.

Murvaul has changed. You can still catch fish but not as regular as before. My last few trips I have caught fish but nothing like I think I should have. My fishing partner and I have a plan to seek revenge elsewhere.
