Im about done with deer hunting and would like to catch a few crappie. Has anyone been and if so has it been a decent bite?

A little slow caught 20 huge crappie 13th on brush piles 17 to 20 ft on jigs and minnows.

Yes it was cold 20 degrees when I launched and water 55 deg.

Thanks Stratos for the report. I’m not much of a crappie fisherman but still try to hit up pines a few times in the winter.

If this cold weather continues just look for the crowds at the dam end of the lake.
