Has anyone here seen or used this transducer mount for a panoptix transducer. There is a video at this link too. Looks pretty nice and I like the way it will reach over the rail of a fiberglass boat. Trying to decide between this and the poleducer.

I looked at this one and could never figure out how it "breaks away" should it impact a stump. One of the main reasons I chose the Poleducer was the use of the ram mount, which allows some give.

Depending on how it is positioned it would swing up if it is pushed forward or backwards but if pushed from the side I am not sure. Great point though.

Ron Duran's set up is pretty nice at Liftsavertm.com as well.

We just had it installed two weeks ago.

I Love Shut up and Fish good folks great products.

But I Love Ron Durans stuff as well.

You can't go wrong with either.

I also have a Poleducer and I have Ron's Liftsaver on my trolling motor.

Roand and Davids are really good guys to do business with and they have some really good products.
