LOP 10/19 and 20th - 10/21/19 02:59 PM
Saturday I had Steve Wynn and his buddy Larry came out to try the crappie. We caught fish right off on brush piles but decided to move to standing timber looking for better fish. We found fish but couldn’t get them to bite. We ran all the way back up near the dam and they loaded the boat with nice eater fish.
All fish caught on minnows in 20ish foot of water
Sunday David Keeling and his son in law Dalton spent a foggy morning on LOP .
Dalton has a livescope on his boat but wanted to understand how better to use it.
The fog finally broke around 9:30 and they went to work on them.
Ended up with a big mess of fatties.
About half on minnows and half on my old tired purple hand tied Naked Tackle jig with a yellow head and tail.
All the fish came of brush piles in 20ish foot of water.
