Kill Switch law

How are you all doing remembering to attach your Kill switch ?

I was having a terrible time trying to get into the habit. Then I found if I draped the lanyard over the steering wheel
each time , I would remember to attach it.

Any other tips ? ( yes I know I should attach it to a life jacket and wear when the boat is moving , Maybe when it
cools off I will try that )

I bought a kill switch wrist strap. I wear the strap with the kill switch attached when moving. Then when I stop i take the wrist band off and velcro it around the steering wheel. That keeps me from forgetting when I start back up.

Just wrap it around my thigh and hook it. Don't care for the wrist strap with jackplate and trim switches.

I put a C Clip on my life jacket to hook the kill switch to it.
Since I always wear the life jacket I just leave it hooked to life jacket when I get up.
It pulls loose and motor won't start when I get ready to move unless i plug it back in.
It takes 21 days to become a habit for most people.
