Guide Report Grapevine Sep 3rd - 09/03/19 07:10 PM
Had Shawn and Pat out this morning on a much quieter and extremely calm Grapevine Lake looking for a mess of crappie. First area we fished was tough and the bite was slow and light. As we moved around and it got hotter the bite just kept getting better. They hit 50 nice keepers, 1 nice blue cat, few sandies a decent LMB about 30 minutes before our trip was to end and we headed for the ramp. It was getting pretty hot when the wind didn’t blow at all which was most of the morning. They had some great fish today with 20 fish better than a pound. Fished all brush piles today in 18-25 ft of water and minnows were definitely on the menu today. I still have some openings during the week and the weekend to get out and catch some great crappie or cats. Go to www.ntxfishing.net or contact me at 972-342-8803 to book a trip.
