What a relief (from the heat)

Rick and I fished Tuesday afternoon from 2:30 til 6:30. Cloudy, cool and the fish bit like crazy. We caught 38 big slabs for a fish fry on baby slab bandits. Any color would work but chart. worked best.

Sure was nice to be able to fish in the afternoon for a change. No shade needed. First sign of what's ahead for fall. (my favorite time of year to fish)

Love them Slab Bandits. Crappie on Fork like them too.

Still hot as heck down here! Maybe by the end of September things will start cooling off!
