If you keep fishing Fork you'll be showing us pictures of 2+ pounders soon.

Hey now wait a second, overall Big Crappie Bonanza results my fish would have been fighting for first place!

Except the Big Crappie Bonanza is on Lavon not Fork. You may be thinking Carappiefest which is on Fork.
There's been a couple fish over 3 lbs weighed in that tournament. And plenty of fish over 2.5 lbs.
Look for Crappiefest in 2020 and enter. You might get that first place prize that could be $7500+.

Does Fork have the biggest crappie in Texas? I’ll be going back for sure, probably next weekend.

Maybe not the biggest but many of us think it has the highest concentration of big fish.

I don't know from experience but three very well known guides all concluded that Fork is the best lake when it comes to big crappie. Lake O Pines was second.

I just started fishing fork for crappie this year and I've caught a lot of fish this year, my best was about 2.5 back during the spawn.
