LOP scouting trip

2 hour scouting trip this afternoon for a paid trip in the morning. Stopped 10 times caught one fish then moved on. Summer pattern holding steady. 20’ of water fish half way down. I just love this lake summer and winter.

Sometimes the scouting trips are the best trips. Nice fish. Good job.

I'm sure it has been said before, but this is the first I have read about fisherman scouting. I do it a lot thought I was an odd ball.

More times than not if I have a trip booked on Saturday, I will go Friday afternoon after work to make sure the fish are where I expect them to be

Scouting/ scanning definitely pays off..... especially if you're a crappie catcher.....
