Aggressive presentation....

Seem to be the trick this past Sunday. In about 20 to 23 fow, I could see crappie with livescope suspend off the bottom to 15 fow. Dropping down slowly and putting jig in front of their face did not work well. Letting jig free fall (1/4 oz jig helps) and hard stop right in front of their face, they would immediately bite it, like a reaction, but you would barely feel it or see it. Give it a try when the fish don’t want to play.

Works great on Sandbass as well. Try bouncing off the bottom, raise reel two turns and stop. Repeat, you will be surprised how many fish strike as a reaction strike.
