Prayers For Continued Good Health...

I have to say that this particular post brings me great joy.

Live every day like it is your last because it very well could be.

Last Tuesday in the wee hours of the morning my father ended up in the back of an ambulance heading to the hospital. They can't prove it, but they believe he had a mini stroke. Luckily, from what we can tell he has no permanent damage to date.

After his VIP Stay at the hospital we were excited to be bringing him home just two short days later on Thursday evening. He felt great and even wanted to go out for dinner.

By Friday morning he was extremely sick and we thought it was merely the flu bug or something he picked up at the hospital. His condition deteriorated throughout the day.

By Friday evening he was running a fever.

He was so weak we ended up calling the Fire Department and off he went back to the hospital via ambulance a mere 24 hours after we brought him home.

Turns out he had the norovirus, Colitis, and Sepsis... . Wow!!

Scared the daylights out of us.

To make it a Family affair my mother was brought into the ER on Saturday evening with the norovirus and while checking her into the ER I ended up checking myself in for the norovirus.

What a wicked nasty bug.

My Dad was up in a room at the hospital and my mother and I were 3 rooms apart in the ER for most of Saturday night. Wow...just Wow!!



All of Sunday my mother and I were out of commission. How my wife ended up not getting this virus is a miracle.

By Monday afternoon my father got released to come back home.

We spent all of Tuesday recovering.

Wednesday was such a pretty day and of course we were anxious to hit the water.

We did not start fishing until 1pm. By 4pm we had our 50 which were given to my Dry Cleaning Lady who loves Crappie.

My father wanted to go again Thursday and this time we fished from 8am until Noon and we got our 50.

I took some pics over the last couple days and wanted to share.

To think we were all in the Hospital on Saturday and then look at these pictures from the last couple days it is a bit surreal for me.

I am keeping an extra close eye on Dad and Mom.

Praying for continued Good Health so that we can keep taking great pictures and enjoying our Family Adventures in Crappie Fishing.

We get great joy of being able to do this together.

We enjoy sharing our adventures and helping other anglers.

Wow!!! Just amazing how ya'll recovered and went on to slay the crappie no less....Truly no words to describe the feeling you have when your good health comes back....Definitely continue to Pray for Dutch, Mom and Familia...and of course awesome, awesome pictures and memories!!!
