"Stoned" 'em!!!

Got up yesterday and did the weather check thang!!!! Friday was too windy...rain Saturday....SSOOOO I touched up a couple things in the shop, loaded the boat and headed to Limestone!!! I arrived about 7:30am and was floating in a matter of minutes. Water was slightly off colored, but fine for crappie fishing!!! I didn't got far from the ramp and immediately started catching fish. It didn't matter whether I dropped a 1/16, 1/8, green, red, blue, hairy or plastic........fish were hitting. All timber fish, stumps and trees. The lake is about norm pool so lots of stuff under the water and bottom bumping the boat. I had 25 and then fished for fun for over an hour. No MONSTERS, No minners....just slab slingin'!!!! Back home and back at the dead fishes today!!!!

Nice haul! I have been considering making the trip to limestone and having family from East Texas meet there. It would be about half way for everyone.
Were you fishing the upper end or lower end? Trying to locate some cabins to rent and set up a get together!

That is SO Awesome. It's great to have days like that, but not too often. It's the slow days that make you appreciate the days like you just had.

There are some cabins and I can send you some info!!! East side smack dab in the middle. My daughter stayed there with some friends and I meet her there and we caught some fish very close to there!!! Get the grease hot!!!!

Need to make a trip!!! Especially with Belton and Waco being so high!

WTG Banger. A nice road trip and good mess of fish.

If the weather would cooperate...life could be good. Work 4-5 days in the shop, fish 2-3. BUT as it has been I've been working 6 fish or wishing 1!!!!!
