Lake Livingston trip

Lake Livingston trip - 05/15/18 12:50 AM

We'll be on lake Livingston again this year in mid June. Last year we stayed just north of Pine island in the middle of the lake and focused mostly on sandbass. This year we'll be staying on the northern part of the lake and would like catch some crappie. Any advice for a novice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Fish the creeks. Harmon, Caney, White Rock... The lake is stumpy up there and you have to follow the boat lanes to a T if you don't launch in the creek you are going to fish. Use caution going from one creek to the other in the lake.

They'll be on structure off the bank in 10 feet of water.

...And whatever you do, stay away from those momma gators in that shallow water...had one knock me off two stumps, at one time...just saying...be aware of where you are...
