Pines beat down w/ report and Pics

Had a great trip on Pines yesterday with clients Teresa and Joe Bob from Bastrop, LA! They kept those Lews rods bowed up all day. Fish were caught on red/white jigs in shallow flooded cover. Just go slow until you find them. Lake is currently 7’ high and COE has the gates wide open releasing 3000 cfs. Lake is falling 1-2” per day but I think the fall rate will increase if we do not get anymore big rain events in the water shed. Happy fishing and tight lines TFF!

Very nice sir. You guys are doing well despite the high water. I plan to get out there once the water levels off. Until then I’ll be hanging out downstream a few miles around the cypress trees!!!! Should make for a very good May and June this year.
