My New Ride

My New Ride - 03/04/18 04:53 PM

After 10 years of fishing out of my Lund 18'er, I figured it was time to get a new one. So I purchased a 21' 2075 Pro-V Bass Lund. After several trips to see David at Shut Up And Fish, I've finally got it exactly the way I want it (well...at least for a while anyway). Thought you guys might like to see it. I'm headed to Fork in a couple of hours for a week to try to 'slime it up'.
Sorry about some of the pics not being upright, but I tried......

Guy, you outdone yourself this time. That white color matched with the dark gray looks awesome. Is that an Ultrexx you have mounted?

Re: My New Ride - 03/05/18 05:14 PM

Beautiful boat!! I have started getting very interested in Lund. Everyone who has one seems to love it. I LOVE the layout of this model.

I have not had a chance to ride in alot of different style boats. Does this more classic bass style still have the famous Lund smooth ride in rough water? Versus the more "northern" style Lund with the windshield and high sides.

My frame of reference is my current boat an Xpress X-17 which I have a love/hate relationship with (love it in the calm, hate it in the wind).

Re: My New Ride - 03/05/18 07:42 PM

To try to answer everyone's questions; I had it on Lewisville last Monday just putting some time on the engine (200 hp Merc Verado), so haven't fished it yet (that'll start tomorrow). I did get into about 1 1/2' waves, and the ride was typical Lund...you never knew they were there. David and I sat in the seats and drank a beer, and yes Bobby, they were very comfortable....at least for beer drinking bolt . I'll report on everything tomorrow afternoon after a day on Fork.
THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR THE GREAT COMMENTS
