Guide Report Friday, Saturday and Sunday Feb 16-18 - 02/18/18 10:19 PM

Been really busy and good fishing the last 3 days. I had Randy and John out Friday and even with the strong winds they had a good day and ended up with 39 fish and some good size fish as well. Saturday I fished the CAT tourney on Lewisville with Phil Hurlbut and my son and we won 1st place over all, 1st place division 1, big fish division 1 and top junior Angler. It was a great day on the lake in spite of the front and storm that passed thru. Had the pleasure today of having Scott and Braden out again chasing some crappie. The lake was pounded yesterday hard with the CAT tourney and a lot of great crappie anglers fishing hard for the big fish. We had a small window after the fog rolled out and the winds kicked up along with a brief little rain storm that ran us and most everyone off the lake. They made the best of it and hammered 30 crappie with 7 giants as well. They had a few white bass also. All fish caught on jigs and color didn’t seem to matter much again. Go to www.ntxfishing.net or contact me at 972-342-8803 to book a crappie or blue cat trip.

Good job guys!
I wanted to fish this event but miscommunication didn’t allow it.
Looks like a good time!
Phill has been on some good fish.
Y’all made it look easy just looking at the standings! Congratulations

Sure was!! Nice to meet you Friday!! There's 4 more CAT tourneys left this year in addition to Crappie Fest at Fork and a Lavon hourly tourney in May. Then there's the Texas State Crappie Championship on Fork in Oct! Your already qualified for that! Come see us again!!

Very nice. The guides on this site always amaze me at the amount of fish they manage to put in the boat when it is so windy. I can catch em in the wind but it makes is so much more work.

That was fun Jacky. It felt nice at the top of the leaderboard. Hopefully the weather will cooperate this week.

Thanks guys and it did feel really good to be able to put our local knowledge to use. I hope to be able to fish some of the other tournaments and get to experience some of the great crappie fishing on those awesome East texas lakes.
