Guide Report Sunday Feb 11th

I had Luis and Alex out today looking for a mess of crappie for a fish fry tonight. It was cold and windy today and the bite took a while to warm up. We fought off small fish and ice in the guides all day. They ended up with 40 crappie and 25 sandies in the livewell at 12:30. It had warmed up to 36 by that time but that wind still had some bite to it. Never saw another boat on the water either. All fish caught on jigs fishing anywhere from 12-26 ft deep in water 22-32 ft. They had some great fish as well and biggest fish today was Luis’s new personal best 14” 1 lbs 13 ounce fatty.
