What was the water temp?

State Records on both the Black and White Crappie are both over 3.50. The Black was caught on Fork back in 2003 and the White was caught on Navarro Mills in 1968. Just glancing at the records a Granger Lake Record White Crappie that weighs 3.50 was caught in February 2016. I am sure there are more!

Very little has been said about Kirk positioning the boat, manning the electronics, gauging water temperature, calculating actual fish depth and assisting in boating the fish! Then maintaining dissolved O2 levels to keep the bull crappie in perfect health!

Don't think I will ever forget seeing that fish on the graph, tossing the marker, circling back to it, calling drop right here, watching Craig put on a show with the pole bent double, netting the fish, heck the rest is history!

I've crappie fished with Kirk a few times and Craig in Alaska. Believe me, both those guys can flat out fish and they both love it. They will wear your hiney out trying to keep up with them.
