Day after Christmas...

Dad and I decided to go chase some Crappie day after Christmas and managed to find 50 that wanted to come home with us.

It was Cold. Brrrr. Dress Warm.

Strike Zone 22-24 Feet.

Color Purple and Chartreuse.

They wanted feathers over plastics.

Took us a bit to figure out what they wanted for the day, but once we figured it out the Slinging of Slabs began.

The smaller the better on the jig size.

Exactly the opposite of what we are used to serving the Crappie this time of year which bigger is normally better.

Crazy Crappie.

Give them what they want.

It's to cold for me to walk out and get the mail,..met my kiddo at IHOP today for lunch and
walking from the car to the diner was brutal,...I'm not ready for that bbrrrrrr fishing just yet.
