3.17 from Fork today - 12/02/17 12:22 AM

I caught my first 3 pounder from Texas on Lake Fork today. I've caught several in OK on Oologah and Eufaula, but my first in Texas.

3.17 lbs.

and some other nice ones as well

All fish caught on large Slab Bandits in blue/chartreuse, and Jerry's Jigs Grasshopper in 25' water

Yes, my old filet board before I found a used stainless table. They work like a charm for fileting fish. Height adjustable, so you can stand up or sit down. Rinse it off and its ready for the next batch.

Great catch. There are not many 3# crappie running around. I have been fish for 40 yrs. pretty seriously, and only caught. One. Congratulations

Great catch, congratulations on it... I was out Friday, caught a limit but none that big, I was in 17-21 foot, lot of 9-1/2" fish..
Water hadn't got cold enough to really bunch them up, I had to make several moves to limit out..

I weighed it, but did not measure. The ironing board that the fish was laying on when the pic was taken measures 16". I'll say 16.5"
