Luckily it still fishes great even at 20-25' low.

Looking forward to new lake syndrome when it fills up.
really like that lake. Sometimes hydrilla from Caddo gets accidentally stuck in my Hobie drive and I don’t see it until after I launch and then it sinks so fast I can’t grab it before it reaches the bottom of Bridgeport creek arms.

I was at our HWY 80 site a while ago, but came home. We have a building with inside sales, but traffic in Mineola was next to nothing.

I live on Lake Bridgeport. We had a place on Fork for 10-12 years but after we bought this house we got rid of it. We had originally reserved a cabin on Caddo this weekend but the rain and high water the past few weeks blew it all out so we decided to come out here.
We might a few acres out here just to hold on to. We've talked about it. We love Lake Bridgeport as my wife is from there and our kids/grandkids are all close.

Kid had a baseball tournament at Rocker B Ranch by PK, we left at 5:30 am and drove into the rain the whole way there expecting the tournament to be cancelled. We get there at 7 it's raining, play 2 games back to back in the rain and win them both, drive home in the rain amazed the tourney didn't get cancelled. Now that the rain is gone the tourney director decides to cancel the remainder of the tourney citing unsafe playing conditions after getting 2.5" of rain. FML

Carried our Junior High band to Dave & Busters on Central Expressway. Been driving a bus for over 10 years and it was the hardest drive to Dallas I’ve ever had because of the rain. Poured just about the whole way.

Oh man, that’s kinda stressful I bet
Just emptied 3.9" in FW. What a soaker!
Last year we had gotten very little rain and a lot of the ponds, lakes, hill country rivers and creeks, were drying up. We need a wet spring, summer and fall here in my area. A lot of my fishing spots can always use a nice dose of rain.
Side Note: Seems that you guys are getting rain just about every week!
