It would be borderline human trafficking, but I wish citizens could donate to TX and have a bus delivered to the liberal city of their choosing. I know some fools in MD that could use 3 or 4 buses, and I'd be willing to pay for Martha's Vineyard to get some more. That whole debacle was pure gold.

The issue of illegal crime, like the immigration problem was exacerbated for political gain.
Even though they are not a larger problem, we could still solve the problem and allow the border patrol to focus on drugs if we instituted logical reforms to take away the incentives for people who have no or little chance of being approved as asylum seekers. The representatives are not trying.

The vast majority of them have no chance to get asylum but the system allows them entry while they have cases. We only approve 20-25k asylums a year.

Who exacerbated it for political gain? Customs has a well defined roll as does the Border Patrol. Drugs is just one of the many problems being dealt with at the border. These people are coming here, for the most part, without the skills, or knowledge to survive in a first world country. There needs to be a major clamp down on the numbers allowed in or processed into the country.

This whole debacle is designed by the major political party, who's emblem is a mule/donkey to enhance their ability to win elections and to "rebuild the country," in their image.

Your sources are suspect in that they are all left leaning.

It’s just common sense. If people who break the law to enter our country in the first place would be good candidates to break the law once they are here. To eliminate these potential problems, just nip it in the bud and keep them south of our border.

Trump.

He didn't solve the problem, just made it more public. His numbers did not reflect improvement and the problem had been going down since 2005. We used to have a million a year till then.

We should all be on the bandwagon to get the problem solved. We aren't and just like the national debt you have a good reason why its not important enough to you.

He was a crime victim. That is not a basis for asylum. Asylum is given because of persecution by the person's government.

The United States recognizes the right of asylum of individuals as specified by international and federal law. In accordance with international law, the United States considers asylum candidates on the basis of persecution or fear they will be persecuted on account of race, religion, nationality, and/or membership in a particular social group or political opinion.

Re: Migrant Crime - 04/13/24 07:37 PM

not a single one of the illegals has come here for "the american dream", they came to literally pillage our country for anything and everything they can and the idiots in charge are aiding and abetting in criminal activities.

too bad no one in d.c. has the balls to call it out for what it is and actually do something.

They need to clean up the corruption of their own countries and not bring it here. When you bring there here, here becomes there. You can see it already in the major cities. I saw it when I worked in the DC area back in the early 90's. That was mostly Central Americans, today we are flooded with people from all over the world, who bring their way of life with them and don't adapt very well to ours.
