Hot or Cold?

Every year I bitch when it's cold during the winter and then again during the summer heat. After this past brutal winter I'll take this summer heat any day!

I can go sit down and get cool. I can't sit down and get warm.

Cold. I much prefer the cold. I have way more fun in the cold, it is far easier to warm up for me and the gas bill is always cheaper than the electric bill in the summer.

I agree with you BigBob, I like Spring & Fall. All two weeks of them.

I can put more clothes on, you don't want me to take more clothes off........

If I had to choose, I would take the cold. I have lived in the Mojave Desert and Southern Texas. That heat is much better than the Kansas heat and humidity that I grew up in.

I like them both, but not a fan of extremes like we are having now or the extreme cold we had a year or two ago.

I like to mix it up. That’s why Texas will always be home.

Hate the cold more. Not a fan of the 100 plus we've been having though this early into summer. We're going to need several tropical storms and hurricanes to give is rain and relief.

Like most old folks,I can handle the heat much better than I can the cold….wife is the opposite….

Cold. My beer stays cold in the car and my snuff doesn’t get all dried out. Fishing is better and I d9nt have grass to mow. If only we could do something about the short days it would be perfect.

Hot, I see way more ladies wearing daisy dukes and bikinis than when it's cold.

I used to hate the heat, actually I still do. But I’ve started to hate the cold even more, I guess I’d take the heat over freezing for days.

What brutal winter are you referring to? I don't recall it be bad at all. The prior year had a week that was brutal, but last year wasn't bad.

A lot more people die from heat related causes than from cold. I hate summer. It's just something to endure until it's over.

I get depressed June-august. Start getting a little more up beat end of September.

Love spring and fall. Between summer and winter, I'll take the summer. I don't have to put on a bunch of extra clothes just to go outside.

I get a lot more done in winter outside. Also a lot of my favorite things (hunting) happen then.

I don't like extreme temps on either though. As someone said spring and fall are my favs.

If 72 is a baseline, I'd rather have (-30) 42 degrees than 102 (+30) degrees. For me, 42 with sunshine and no wind is simply long sleeve weather. 102 is run through the sprinklers naked weather. So I think we can all agree 42 is much better for everyone involved.

Winter is stupid

I'll take being cold... You can always move around and create body heat... Just standing outside in the shade in the heat and humidity and you're sweating like a pig, there ain't nothin' you can do to cool down... Dan

Actually, I kinda think that by now, humankind would have evolved to the point where most of us live around the equator. Screw that cold stuff.

I don't like either one due to my electricity bill going up with both.

Same here, growing up in Iowa 90 degrees is way worse than 105 here. And it's worse by a LOT!!!
