Yes, my wife bought me the most tender ribeye ever that I cooked to perfection.

Had kids and grandkids over to swim and cookout and the swimming got cancelled because we had a thunderstorm and a good rain Sunday afternoon. So yea, I got what I really wanted.

I worked but met up with the family for an early dinner. A new pair of sunglasses & a "snacklebox" with candy. It was a great day

As a rule we don't do Hallmark holidays. Kind of a senseless waste of money in my opinion.

Great father's day weekend. Swimming @ my sons and cookout on Saturday and went golfing @ White Bluff at Whitney yesterday with son, grandson and granddaughter then swimming afterwards.

I got to see both my kids and my grandson and my wife wouldn't speak to me from Temple to Austin and from Austin to home so yeah, I got what I wanted.

My daughter was very generous to me and my son took me out for a elk dinner at Lonesome Dove in Austin and is having Katz Deli pastrami, corned beef and salami delivered to me from New York.

Yep, had the kids over with their families, cooked out and swam. Got me some new BBQ and a bottle of Penelope Bourbon. Best of times.

I got 2 tommy bahama shirts..... that's fine cause i bought Garmin panoptix last month which I failed to tell my wife about. I'm good with that

I didn't get anything, but never do more than maybe a card. I did get to go fishing, but it was so hot I bailed after an hour or so.

Spent time with kids and grandkids along with a great lunch of steaks, salmon, jalapeno poppers, baked potatoes and corn on the cob all washed down with some cold beer. Couple of naps yesterday. Life is good!

Spent the day with family. Since my dad passed on Father’s Day ‘02 it is a bit more meaningful.

When you say you got to go fishing are you implying you had to ask and were granted permission to go fishing?

My Son stopped in for a couple days on his way from northern Ill to the farm in southern Mo., so I had my Dr with me for the day.

Got what I wanted in a pretty mellow day after a 48hr shift. Kids came by and dropped off some gifts. I worked out in tbe yard for a bit after a new chain fixed my chainsaw issues I thought I had screwed it up and was gonna have to replace tge bar, chain and clutch but a new chain fixed it up and cuts like new again.


No complaints at all. I am past the point of wanting anything big I would rather my kids save their money or spend it on their own kids.

I don’t ever ask for anything for Father’s Day, but the wife/kids always pick out something nice for me. Our son will always overspend on gifts for us, and we kind of have to keep him in check. He only makes about $10/hr and gets about 25 hours a week, but will always buy me a nice gift. Our daughter is not as thoughtful as her brother.

Yep, my daughter and SIL came by and gave me an Academy gift card. Glad it was not a BPS card.

I gotta buy lunch.

Had a feed here at the casa with both my kids and their spouses, which is my favorite way to spend the day. They pooled together and bought me a VacMaster VP215 chamber type vacuum sealer. Thing is a beast, weighs 84 pounds, gonna have to get a rolling cart for it.

Got a ticket to a Rangers Game with the wife and grown children. And a Rangers shirt.

Got phone calls from the kids: one in San Fran, one in Asheville and one in Tulsa. The Wife is taking me out to lunch to my favorite high-tone Mexican place (Mi Dia from Scratch) today so we avoided the Sunday crowd.

I got three packs of senkos in a cool box. Of course I bought another street rod last week…so I’m lucky to even get what she gave me!

I did. Got to spend the day with my kiddos, cook a brisket, have a little pool time and was surprised with a new soft side Yeti. Great fathers day.

Sunday morning my daughter and I left the house at 545 a.m. to drive to San Marcos where she had a softball game.
Got back home around 2p.m.
Within 10 min of being home, my daughter leaves to hang with her friends, my son leaves to do the same with his friends & my wife decides to leave to go check the mail.

So I grabbed the dog and went to my parents where we watched some of the Texas & Texas A&M game.
So far, everyone here had a better day than me

All I wanted was a cheap cowboy hate from cavenders to wear when working on the land. Told all 3 of them. I got a card from both kids and the wife. I did organize a trip to the roughriders game when it was clear there was no plan or gifts otherwise arranged. So that was a fun evening.

Yes I did. I was treated to some BBQ and spent some quality time with daughter, son in law and seven month old granddaughter...

Wife and I got into it pretty good argument Friday evening and haven't spoken since. Got the girls all to myself Sunday which was fantastic!!! Wife made dinner and took hers to the bedroom while the rest of us hung out. Got a dozen roses, 3 cards and a 12" Dewalt miter saw.

Oldest son came home from college last week. I told the family that I didn't need to do anything special, so we just had a low-key day at the house.

Oh, and I did get two new torque wrenches.

so why did you need the wrenches? you torque off here pretty regularly. just sayin.

I got to video chat with my son in Allen and see my two granddaughters, to to see his twin brother and my granddaughter that lives in Longview but my grandson was sleeping. My daughter and her husband came over and he helped me finish picking green beans, weeding them and then we dug up about 1/4 of the potatoes. Wide and daughter brought lunch home from Jasons Deli so I didn't have to cook.
SIL and I worked on his daily driver and fixed some oil leaks and changed out a few sensors that the code reader said were bad. It was hot in the shop, but we had several fans going. Got a few gifts, but the time spent with the kids is the best gift there is.

I didn't want anything really, altho my SIL's family got me one of those Portable Buddy Propane Heaters I can use deer hunting. That was nice of them.

I didn't want anything, but received a bottle of whiskey and some whiskey glasses, a bartender kit thing, and a card from my daughter, spent the day in the pool and grilled some grub, didn't hear a word from my son's but not surprised.

Wanna make sure I do it right.

My wife was out of town. Left me a Duluth T-shirt. Got a call from my daughter and grandsons. I did cook myself a Nolan Ryan Angus strip steak, some shrimp and made a salad for dinner and that was very good!
