This is a resort as there is a pool.

Like normal, I'll have lots of gift prizes to win. Some in the past have been 7" Garman units, Dobyns rods and nice reels, bottles of bourbon eagle rare to be exact, and much more like gift cards to ShuckMe, 407 BBQ, Academy. Since I have a little extra time this year I'm going to work on even more prizes. And the prizes are done by random draw not just to the winners of the tournament.

I'm having knee surgery next week. Will be laid up for a while and won't be able to fish for a few weeks or even couple of months.

Scouting report from this past Saturday.. put in at Bullfrog Marina and fished all the way back up Johnson Creek as far as I could go.. first time there, second time on the lake. Caught 6, all small. Boat traffic was horrendous until I got far up the main creek and up feeder creeks… beautiful water.. 80 degrees. Didn’t get on the water until after 5, fished until 10pm.









Still like the north end better as there was no hydrilla here.

South is where it's at this time of year.

It sucked… already off the water. Lots of people fishing this end.. they must have all come from the north. 😂
Caught white bass on 5xd, lost a 2 lb bass early, missed one on a frog… headed to brushy creek to check it out.. might be suffering heat stroke on top of the COVID’s I’ve had for the last week.

Evening bite was good, we caught em.

Any good ones? I went to north end .. Brushy Creek ramp... overflow parking at ramp, so dang busy I decided it wasn't for me. Parked in the shade as I was about to fall asleep. Walked over to swimming area and wished I hadn't. Who let all the hippos and the walrus out. Drove on around the lake and checked out two more ramps.. all full, boats everywhere, not enough room for my taste.. headed home. Halfway home I decide I'll head over to Martin Creek.. drive by it... decide to head over to Murvaul and some shade.

Catch a couple of small ones, lose one and miss a couple more on swimbait.. head in at dark. Get to Henderson and pull in to car wash... notice I didn't tie my kayak down. Had only tied bow line but forgot the other two straps. Thanked my Lucky Stars I didn't kill someone. About to fall alseep the last few miles. Get home..put a pizza in the oven, starving... notice it has no taste, then notice I can't taste dr pepper, then go sniffing everything I can think of. Couldn't even smell Franks Hot Sauce. Everything starting to make sense.. I told lady at store earlier that her dr pepper syrup was out. Then remembered thinking the day before haven eaten the worst BBQ sandwich I've ever had... Looks like I'll be taking a few days off from work...

Prizes are not for the tournament winners they are done by drawing and there is no cost for entry to the drawings.

I'll be there bright and early Saturday morning... have an extra kayak/paddle for anyone that wants to give it a go. Just bring your pfd.. has crate/ and rod holders for 4 rods. Can show you where the fish are as well.

not sure he caught a bunch in one spot on many different baits but I don't think the penis frog was one of them.

all you had to do was show up for weighing. GTrigg didn't fish but we walked away with a box of different baits.
