My later post. Prayers needed for our daughter.

I spoke about my emotional state in my coffee post. Well, here it is. One of our daughters was Raped & physically abused on Wednesday night by someone who had apparently followed her home or was waiting for her. This is killing me that I could not protect her. The good news is they caught the guy & he is jail on 0 $100,000 bond pending the outcome of the rape test results, and then it will go up. Sad thing is, she has her own business running 3 escort trucks & this is going to be bad for her business as she takes time to heal. She lives in a small town & knew who they guy is so that helped in catching the scumbag. We all know what we would like to do to this guy if we caught him. I personally would take him where no one could hear him scream, you can imagine the rest. So I am asking for prayers for her recovery & mental state of mind. Thank you in advance for your support.

I would want to kill the scumbag by any means I could but would just want it to be a prolonged and extremely painful death.

I am so very, very sorry. Your daughter is a rape survivor and knowing they have the guy will hopefully help her recover. It will be a long and slow process. There will be times she'll start to feel normal and it will all come back to her, unfortunately. That's normal. She's going to need a lot of therapy. Even if she just sits there and says nothing, eventually she'll open up. The state she lives in should have resources for victims of violent crime, so she should contact them soon.

My worst nightmare is to see one of my children hurt, but if something like this happened..... It' just better that I don't put it in writing. Prayers for your daughter. I hope she comes out stronger from all this and prayers to you Dad.

Prayers for you and her. I deal with this type of trauma at work daily and can tell you that she needs to get into some type of counseling immediately. Look for peer support in her area. We have had amazing success with EMDR and the results are much quicker. PM me if you would like anEMDR contact in the central texas area. She has colleagues around the country and could probably point you in the direction of someone local.

Praying for your daughter and the family. The Lord Jesus Christ will see your daughter, you, and your family through this. I have worked plenty of these types of cases in my career and I can honestly say they were the worst for me. Jesus Christ has control .



Side Note: What has been mentioned above about counseling is good advice.

TFF members. Thank you so very much for all of your prayers & comments, you all have an idea of how tough this is, but it doesn't even come close. The RAGE inside of me is overwhelming & I know God is holding my reins tight. Like I said, I want to take him to a place where no one can hear him scream. We have 6 daughters & she has all the support & friends she needs in them as they are thick as thieves, believe me. She starts therapy on Saturday and is actually looking forward to it as she is a very strong lady & wants to get through this. Doctors found no major damage from the physical assault other than bruising & swelling. She is 40 yrs young wants to get back to work raising her children & growing her business but knows it will take time. We are extremely proud of her for how she has come along in 2 days. This is tough but our family is a lot tougher & closer. Thank you all again for your prayer requests & comments. This is why I love this forum! I will try to update on her progress weekly, if I don't feel free to ask or nudge me to update. God Bless all of you & the TFF.

If you don't know, the man in the red shirt kidnapped an 11 year old boy and raped him. The father (Eric Emery) was talking to his friend on the payphone when the Marshals were walking him out of the Baton Rouge airport. The second he walked by, the father told his friend on the phone "here he comes, you're about to hear a shot" and then dropped the phone, turned around and shot him through his right ear. The father pleaded no contest to a manslaughter charge and he was given a seven-year suspended sentence (meaning he only went to prison if he committed another crime), five years of probation, and a little community service. So, the dude kidnapped and raped his son, the father shot him in the head on live television and didn't spend a single day in prison. That's how it should work.

I can not possibly come up with the words to express how I feel about this. I have sympathy for your daughter and your family. I hope yall find peace. I would never be able to judge a man for actions he took in vengeance after an attack on his family. I also would consider this person a threat to my daughter's safety for as long as he takes breath. May God be with you throughout the rest of this horrific situation.

I don’t know what to say. Terrible, and I hope you and your family get through this. She sounds like a strong and determined woman with a strong support group.

I am so so sorry to read about this... I do not know if I would be able to deal with the pain you have right now... Be strong for your daughters...

Prayers for you family. Healing Love to your daughter. Sadly I know there is lots of help in this country for this crime, and sadly I know this is because it is needed. I would encourage you all to seek it. Be patient, it will probably be a long road to recovery. I hope that healing comes soon.

Good that your daughter is starting therapy and as a father I know you will benefit with therapy as well. The rage will be apart of your life.
