I miss doing my shopping at 0500.
I’ve heard a terrible rumor that they aren’t considering going back to 24H.

I'll gladly pay extra just so I don't have to deal with Walmart.

+2, I hated it when they did. I got behind a lady that had ads from 3 stores. I almost left my cart and walked out.

I use the online order for a lot of stuff, or did, now I have to click the dam pictures every time I open the site.
screw that, I will go to the store in person first. it's the only site that requires that so it is on them.

Walmart's sales strategy is to provide the lowest price, with the best quality possible at that price point. Think about that for a minute and you will realize that they would rather sell a piece of junk for cheap than a quality item for a little more money. They are so big that they determine what price they pay for goods, not the manufacturer. In order to survive, manufacturers have to find a way to cut their costs on products in order to sell at walmart's price point. For example, cooler companies put about half as much insulation into a walmart cooler than one sold at most other stores. The outside shell is the same, but they cut their cost at the expense of the consumer, who now has to drink lukewarm beer.
They were also the pioneers of "shrinkflation." Ever wonder why bacon comes in 12 oz packages now rather than 1 lb? Walmart. Remember when all ice cream came in 1/2 gallon tubs? Walmart. And if any one company is responsible for moving US manufacturing away to china, then it is Walmart.
